Most treatments take less than 45 minutes. For optimal results, you will likely need an initial series of three or four sessions one month apart. We’ll discuss the perfect Potenza™ protocol for you based on your aesthetic goals. We don’t proceed until we’re sure you understand exactly what we are going to do and what you can expect and are certain this is the optimal treatment to help you improve your skin.
Potenza RF Microneedling in Houston, Texas
The world’s first FDA-authorized four-mode RF Microneedling system that allows the delivery of a variety of customized treatments on a single device for the face and body.
What is Potenza™ RF Microneedling?
The Potenza™ is an FDA-approved RF microneedling treatment for the face and body. The RF energy is delivered via small needles. In addition to the benefits seen with the micro-injury provided by the microneedles, RF microneedling also delivers RF energy deep into the dermis, further enhancing skin tightening through soft-tissue coagulation. The RF energy heats the underlying layers, causing constriction and tightening of the skin through soft tissue coagulation, as well as causing the stimulation of collagen and elastin production.
What separates Potenza™ from some other skin revitalization option is that Potenza™ treatments can be performed on all skin types, anywhere on the body during any time of the year. The device’s four modes allow us to completely individualize the treatments for our patients looking for the most effective technologies.
Multiple Modes Means Customized Treatments
The Potenza™ device’s four modes offer more customized microneedling treatments on a single system. The device’s mono-polar RF mode delivers energy across a large area of tissue for deep heating and skin tightening through soft tissue coagulation, not only on the face, but anywhere on the body.
The bipolar RF mode offers more concentrated delivery of energy to treat superficial tissue and provide ideal skin revitalization results. This ground-breaking device is also equipped with the first semi-insulated needles of its design which allow us to expand the treatment zone and address more tissue per treatment, which translates to quicker sessions per patient. The device also offers a single-needle hand-piece designed to target and improve blemishes.
INTRODUCING – FUSION TIP
Enhanced topical penetration. Maximum results.
The one-of-a-kind Fusion Tip is the newest addition to the Potenza radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system. With its dual-air chamber design, the Fusion Tip captures and releases air towards the skin with each pulse, enhancing the penetration of topicals into the skin by 67 percent for maximum results.
Now with the single-use, disposable Fusion Tip, can maximize topical penetration while tightening the skin through soft tissue coagulation, revolutionizing the standard microneedling treatment.
While three to five treatments at roughly four to six weeks apart are recommended, patients may notice improvements in their skin after the first or second treatment and will continue to see improvements six to 12 months post-treatment.
What Can I Expect During Treatment?
We will apply a topical numbing cream prior to the procedure. Once you are numb, the hand-piece is placed against your skin, allowing the radiofrequency energy and needles to penetrate. You may feel a stinging or mild burning sensation and light pressure from the needles as the device moves over the treatment area. Pinpoint bleeding is a normal occurrence but is limited to the time of the treatment. It is best to avoid alcohol the night before the treatment to minimize this.
